Our staff is highly skilled (more than 1/3 having a PhD) with an average of more than ten years' experience in the lifesciences. Competencies include all aspects of modern biotechnology, including strain development (classical mutagenesis and recombinant DNA techniques), fermentation and cell cultivation, separation and purification, product characterisation and process scale-up.

We have broad experience in developing fermentation and organic synthesis strategies and processes for biological and semi-synthetic API's.


Quality participates in most of the activities we do, from laboratory experiments to commercial manufacturing guiding the day to day activities and supporting our client in maintaining their competitive advantage.

Quality Assurance and Quality Control are responsible for the issue and application of standard operating procedures, in-process and release testing and stability studies on Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients as well as on finished dosage forms.

They are responsible for control and release of raw materials, packaging and environmental monitoring of production areas.


Manufacturing is responsible for the production of our products across the two manufacturing sites (Sant'Antonino, Pisticci).

In order to be able to serve the global market and industry, we are operating our manufacturing system in accordance with GMP and comply with all international standards and regulations.
We are proud to deliver quality products to our customers and the primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Group is to reproduce constantly the same quality to each batch of product.


Gnosis regulatory department takes care of the global regulatory trends and requirements so that we are able to serve our clients' needs.

Regulatory Agencies in various countries have strict laws and regulations which our clients need to meet in order to launch products and keep them successfully on the market.

Regulatory Affairs personnel liaises with the national agencies to fulfil such requirements with the help of different departments such as R&D, Manufacturing and Quality.

Regulatory professionals have a strong academic background combined with work experience from pharmaceutical companies and excellent communication skills.


Over the years we have built strong relationships with some of the largest pharmaceutical firms as well as leading generic players and several companies in the nutraceutical and nutrition industry.
